CVS One-Time-Use Video Camcorder

20/06/2005
If there's ever an opportunity for Singapore's own Funniest Videos, that could just happen should the disposable video camera head this way. Already out in the US, the one-time-use camcorder sports just three buttons, and saves images onto an internal memory. There's no zoom and playback is limited to the last clip recorded. Plus users have to fork out an ouch-worthy US$12.95 to process the 20-minute footage onto DVDs. But at a fraction of what digital camcorders can cost, this could birth a generation of budding Steven Spielbergs, or even Eric Khoos, on a budget.
Device: Disposal video cameras
Basic specs: About 142g, 1.4-inch color playback screen, three control buttons including playback and delete, 20 minutes of video and audio
